„Hydrogen is a promising beginning for the future of humanity on Earth.“
Jeremy Rifkin, 2002
My exciting journey into the world of hydrogen
Jeremy Rifkin convinced me back in 2002 with his book "The Hydrogen Economy" that hydrogen would be the ideal energy source for us. Even then, much of what he said seemed logical – and much of it has become reality.
I believed in it back then - and I still do today: The future of energy is clean, efficient and innovation-driven. And it has become a matter close to my heart.
Two decades later I am at the forefront of hydrogen, scaling businesses, launching industry-defining projects, and shaping policies that accelerate the transition to sustainable solutions.
These two decades have turned me into a hydrogen enthusiast and expert, with a network spanning several levels of business, administration and associations.
My “Special Project”
In 2007 I co-founded the association and network HyCologne as a spin-off from a technology centre to drive innovation and collaboration in the field of hydrogen and thus promote a sustainable energy ecosystem.
Today, with over 50 members and partners, HyCologne aims to implement hydrogen projects that make a relevant, efficient and sustainable contribution to climate protection and economic strength in the Cologne region.
My motto is the motto of HyCologne:
Network – Develop – Make!
